As a supply senior supervisor for our Thermal Management business segment in Noida, India, Shruti’s 16-year journey from a procurement engineer to her current position is a story of her unwavering dedication and deep-seated passion for growth. The drive to achieve greater heights in the professional field and to grow with a progressive organization where one can fully apply managerial and technical skills has been a guiding force for her.

Shruti’s career with us began with Tyco Thermal Controls (now the nVent RAYCHEM brand) in July 2007, has been a blend of vision, interest, experience, and the guidance from great mentors. The combination of those factors has propelled her to her current position. “My eagerness to be part of a team that shares my values and is committed to creating a better future keeps me at nVent,” shares the individual, whose passion and dedication have been integral to their career progression.

A typical day for Shruti is a whirlwind of activity, starting with checking emails and crafting a to-do list of assignments for the day. In procurement, her schedule is packed with internal and external meetings, planning, vendor developments, interdepartmental coordination, and maintaining proper records.

Throughout her career, Shruti has taken on a variety of projects, each offering unique lessons. Yet, the RAPID project in Malaysia stands out for its exceptional teamwork and innovative approach to tank insulation. “We had a core team for its execution, and the teamwork involved was outstanding,” Shruti recalls. Facing numerous challenges due to the complexity of the technology offered to the client, this project was evidence of what can be achieved with great teamwork, immense motivation, and exceptional leadership. It underscored her belief that “If everyone is moving forward together, then success takes care of itself,” a principle that has guided her through challenges and triumphs alike.
